COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Walter Matthau helps a bad team become better submitted by tbbrown76 on July 17, 2020, 8:34pm Believe in your team and you can go places. Lots of good clean fun. Great for,the whole, family. Highly recommended.

Still Funny, but has Offensive Language submitted by KPNF on July 7, 2023, 6:51am I just watched this with my family after about 40 years. It is still funny and heartwarming. This is probably the original underdog team helped by a washed up former athlete coach story that created the pattern for The Mighty Ducks and similar later movies. NOTE: one of the kids repeatedly uses racist/anti-semitic/homophobic slurs, so I wouldn’t recommend this for families with kids under 10/or kids who haven’t learned these are offensive and very hateful terms.

Dated submitted by rbseemail on August 11, 2023, 6:24am This film felt dated to me and has lost some of what might have once been more of a feel good vibe. I watched it as a follow on to Paper Moon to see what Tatum O'Neil was like as an actor a couple years on from Paper Moon.
