The wolf gets his goat submitted by FordAlpha on August 12, 2018, 10:01pm This story is "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" with a couple of twists. It's told from the wolf's perspective, and although the wolf succeeds in taking a goat from the boy's flock when the adults tire of responding to false alarms, the goat ultimately survives to become the wolf's vegetable-gardening partner. It's an inventive tale, and the illustrations are appealing, as are the descriptions of the creaky old wolf's reactions to the foolish goatherd.
