COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Much beloved, written by Douglas Adams of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fame. submitted by cherylo on July 8, 2011, 9:41pm One of my favorite classic Doctor Who episodes, at turns tragic and exceedingly silly. A great episode that anyone dipping into classic Doctor Who should view.

Zanak submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on July 27, 2013, 11:47pm One of the best known episode of classic "Doctor Who," this episode* features one of my favorite doctors--the fourth played by Tom Baker--as well as two of my favorite companions--Romana and K9.
The Doctor and Romana, who is very smart and not the type to stand around screaming, land on a planet Zanak by accident. Yet Zanak is not an ordinary planet--it can travel across the universe rather than being in orbit around a star, and it threatens other planets everywhere. This episode is a break from the Key of Time series in which the Doctor and Romana are searching for the six parts of the Key.

*"The Pirate Planet" is actually one story aired in four parts in 1978.

A favorite submitted by KimB on August 27, 2020, 1:01pm This is one of my favorite 4th Doctor episodes. It's a good, fun, and interesting story.
