COMMUNITY REVIEWS

The Sun Is Dying submitted by jaegerla on March 22, 2011, 12:04pm This space story is a horse of a different color. The only movie I could compare this to is Moon, in that the story went in surprising directions I did not expect from the description. Worth watching!

Not your ordinary sci-fi film submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 2:06pm This had an ensemble cast of performances. The movie is set in space, but it's more of a drama than a special effects vehicle. It's a great film worth watching.

Awful science, fair fiction. submitted by peteralway on August 25, 2016, 6:41pm I confess that I am reviewing this from the perspective of an astronomy and physics instructor. While this move's story was enough to hold my interest, the science in this movie was some of the most ridiculous I've ever seen in a movie. And I've seen a lot of ridiculous science in movies. Anyone who knows or cares the least bit about how stars work, or how combustion works, will find this painful to watch.

Movie submitted by Clown81 on August 25, 2019, 11:48am This movie looks bad.

Okay, but Confusing submitted by Maria Maguire on July 8, 2020, 1:31am The premise is a little ridiculous (let's shoot a bomb into the sun to restart it!) but movie definitely isn't goofy. I did enjoy the movie, and thought there were interesting characters who truly were willing to sacrifice everything to complete their mission. But, the movie was a little confusing at parts - enough so that it threw me off and made parts of the movie hard to enjoy. I still enjoyed it, but thought it could have been a little more clear.
