Emma in this volume has to leave the town she has grown to love because the mistress she worked for hass passed away. But Emma's heart is breaking because while working for her mistress she fell in love with a young man but a problem arises because they are from two very different classes. While on the train ride home Emma meets another maid who suggests she comes to work for her employer. So Emma is interviewed and hired by the head maid so to speak. Attractive to fans of Downton Abbey submitted by torikaebaya on February 4, 2017, 1:21pm Mori Kaoru's Emma v.3 is a rare treat that will be attractive to fans of Downton Abbey, Victorian women's dress, mysterious train adventures, gondola courting and baby dykes. My favorite character in the series, Eleanor takes the stage as a minor doomed love interest.
