Grave submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 17, 2013, 10:02pm The mystery-solving prowess of Harper Connelly continues in this third book in the series about a psychic detective and her former-stepbrother-turned-business-partner Tolliver. Read the other two first in order to understand the characters and their backstory.

Harper was struck by lightening many years ago and, as a result, has the psychic ability to find corpses and know how they died. She solves numerous murders as a result with the help of her former step-brother Tolliver. As their parents are no longer married, Harper and Tolliver don't think of themselves as siblings any more, though.

This book does not contain vampire, werewolves, fairies or any other supernatural creatures besides the psychic herself. If you are looking for more of the Sookie Stackhouse books but with different characters, this one will disappoint you. If you are able to keep an open mind, though, you'll likely enjoy this one.
