Start from the beginning, but read this series

These are just wonderfully put together. Bits and pieces planted back in the first book are pulled forward here in the fourth. Character traits (strengths and flaws) continue to bear fruit. Relationships develop in real ways.
It's not that there's never a nit-picky thing that I notice and wish was fixed. (I think it was in this book that) Tavi listens to a Canim *other* than the single one who taught him to speak the language (which is completely unlike his own) and manages to pick up almost the whole of what is said around him... and in a noisy environment, no less. I can tell you from having learned French from a single French teacher that accents are hard, and that would never work. But still... nit-picky. :-)
The book, and the series, is amazing. If you like fantasy, try them.
Really good submitted by kathscot on July 28, 2017, 11:59am Butcher really knows how to write. This is a very good series.
