Ok, the pilot is good. Very good, even, but not great. Everything after that, however, is brilliant. Man, is this an amazing show.
Tina Fey is incredible. I don't know what any critics are saying when they aren't impressed with her. I find her alternately hilarious, relatable and adorable. Perfect. I'm always rooting for Liz Lemon, unless she's making a huge mistake, in which case I'm perfectly ok with rooting for her to be different from what and who she is. That's what Tina Fey wants me to do!
Alec Baldwin is perfect as Jack Donaghy. Perfect. The voice, the presence, the corporate dismissiveness, it's all there. Tracy and Jenna are a great team of awful and both do a great job embracing the insanity of their respective characters. Pete and Kenneth are perfect. Way to be weird, and there. That's all they need to do.
This is a great series and it only gets better from here!

A MUST see submitted by llwalsh on July 11, 2014, 10:21am 30 Rock is an incredibly clever show, and the first season starts off very strong for a comedy. It hits the ground running. You'll see lots of SNL cameos.
