Simple but thorough guide for new car owners
submitted by ckuus on August 14, 2014, 8:45pm
The title describes exactly what it is: a basic guide that helps answer small but important questions like, how do I take care of the interior and exterior of my car? What supplies do I need to carry in my car and how much will they cost? It was designed for use as a classroom textbook, so each of the short 20 chapters has objectives for learning, clear pictures, summaries, and information about career paths related to the topic of the chapter. The latter chapters include explanations of how your car works in easily understandable language.
It was written by a man and wife who were initially motivated to learn more about their cars and save money, both things which this book will help you to do. I found it a great guide and and useful reference with just the right mix of technical and practical information. Sure, you can find most of this information on the Internet, but having all the information in one place and easily explained by professionals (Mike worked for NSF and co-authored 10 textbooks on math, science and technology) saves you time.
Recommended for new car owners and seasoned car owners who want to take better care of their car and save money.
