Laughed the Whole Way submitted by xiwang on July 31, 2013, 8:47pm A great book about coming of age, discrimination, and bravery this book tells the amazing journey of Junior, a Indian that is truly nomadic. Hilarious illustrations and vibrant text, this book is truly wonderful. 5 stars Sherman Alexie.

great book! submitted by bookher on June 12, 2015, 6:44pm My book club read this book and I really enjoyed it. Painful but hilarious at the same time.

Wonderful and funny submitted by rkraut on June 28, 2015, 8:56pm This is my son's favorite book--it weaves together heartbreak and funniness.

funny and meaningful submitted by srahman on June 21, 2016, 10:25am I laughed with every page I turned and even though there were a lot of funny parts, the book also shows that bravery is hard to muster up!

Hilarious submitted by kferguson on July 24, 2016, 2:42pm Tragic and hilarious at the same time

Funny submitted by hahahame on July 24, 2017, 8:04pm Funny and good read

4 stars submitted by MaddieBaybeck on June 21, 2018, 5:32pm I never knew there was a book that could make me bust out laughing, cry, and question humanity at the same time. Thanks to Junior and Sherman Alexie.

Great piece which is easy to understand submitted by YongxinZheng on July 3, 2018, 11:36pm I read this book in my English class. It is a awesome book which is about left of hometown, discrimination, life and death, alcoholism... But the stories of Junior are worth to read. This book is really easy to understand even though you are an English leaner. I wish you will enjoy reading this book.

highly recommend this book submitted by menmen on July 5, 2018, 9:54am I read this book in my high school. While I was reading this book, I could feel the deep themes behind it. The danger of alcohol, the friend relationship, the racism, stereotype, finally connect all together. The language of this book is easy but it's not really nice. If you are over 16, this book would be great for you!

stunning and funny submitted by Josephine on July 22, 2018, 2:58pm this book is very important and well narrated

Good book submitted by jasonc1177 on July 31, 2019, 7:46pm This is a great book.

Great book submitted by umich.reader on July 9, 2022, 4:27pm A really great book. A good way for kids to read about discrimination and differences.
