Shrek with an Edge submitted by Meginator on July 24, 2018, 11:19am This soundtrack feels somewhat different than those for the previous two Shrek films, with a decidedly harder edge to many of the selected songs and less of a narrative flow. In the process of becoming slightly edgier, the soundtrack loses some of the levity that defines the franchise, though it's difficult to complain too much about a strong compilation of good songs even if they make less sense in this specific context.
