fun mystery with romantic elements - set on Lake Michigan

Susan Goodwill is a Michigan author, and she's definitely captured the spirit of a small, Lake Michigan town in her fictional Mudd Lake setting.
Kate London is a fun character to get to know, along with the rest of the supporting cast. If you've seen the play/movie "Brigadoon" you will find parallels between that story and this one. If not, you'll still get a fun (if deadly) mystery with a hint of love interest on the side.
