Faith Evers tries to stop Jay's drinking, but the smooth-talking jazz DJ seems to love the bottle more than his wife. So Faith walks out and moves into a University of Texas dormitory. There, she can devote more time to her job of tutoring the school's student-athletes and possibly even interest them in something other than hitting baseballs and catching footballs.
