The Icebound Land submitted by EmptyGryn on June 24, 2011, 7:30pm The third book in the series! I loved this book because one of the main enemies is a leaky ship. A tale of Glory, Battle and Honor.

Losing Me... submitted by tree64 on August 5, 2011, 6:34am At this point in the series, Will is basically helpless, which makes me dislike this book. Also, the plot of this book is dragged on from the first and second books, drying up the plot a bit in my opinion. I almost stopped reading this series, but thankfully, the book after this became one of my favorites, so I continued to read this series.
favorite series submitted by AbbyJNg on June 16, 2012, 8:16am great job on this book!
enjoyable series submitted by KathyD on June 28, 2012, 11:28am This book was enjoyable, but tended to drag a little more than others in the series. Plan on getting the next one right away because it leaves you hanging again.

Will's situation as a slave becomes quite intense. For parents who are reading this with their children, it's a good opportunity to discuss the perils of addiction.
I liked the way John Flanagan alternated chapters between Will's situation and Horace's situation, although sometimes I needed to skip a chapter and come back to it because I was impatient to find out what would happen next!
