Stupendous submitted by soccerforlife on August 2, 2011, 2:34pm A great story with feisty characters and a heady plot. Lynsey and Dave are two very smart kids who have a lot of potential. Their teamwork, inspired by their mute-ness, is very rewarding to read about.
Really great read! submitted by Meg98 on July 12, 2012, 5:25pm This book tells the tale about a group of fifth graders, known as the "unshushables", who suddenly become completely shushed, and without any warning. The boys and girls have challenged each other to a contest. A no talking contest. For two days straight, the fifth graders say nothing, except if they are asked a question by an adult at school. In this case, they answer with only 3 words. The teachers are taken totally by surprise and don't know how to react. As the story goes on, it becomes more than a contest, it becomes a question of teamwork, as the fifth graders try to resist the pressure of their teachers and the principal to talk again. Who will win? The girls or the boys? The students or the teachers? This is a fantastic read!
