Amazing! submitted by sdunav on March 12, 2010, 4:43pm A beautiful, innovative story. You know how people talk about how "The Lord of the Rings" combines the humble ("homely") and the noble, the earthly and the sublime, in a gripping story with memorable characters? Well, Taylor manages to do the same thing here. It's amazing, and I will be buying a copy of this book to re-read. I'm looking forward to sharing it with my daughter soon (I'd say it's good for kids 9+, or even younger - if they're not overly sensitive to battles, sudden deaths, and the imminent end of the world).
