Jane Austen Fans - Stay Away submitted by laurie92 on March 8, 2009, 6:46pm Who wouldn't want to read more about the most intriguing and romantic characters from English Literature? I did and hoped for a good read. This was not the case. If you are a fan of Austen and Pride and Prejudice - be forewarned. You cannot "unremember" some of this stuff. I wish I could. If you are a fan of Romance Lit and haven't read Pride and Prejudice - then this could be a fun escape, despite the faux Georgian language. The 2 stars are for you alone. In a nutshell, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy have lots of sex. Lots. Bad puns abide and you will be amazed at the authors ability to pen a gazillion euphemisms for male genitalia. That horrible sound you hear is Miss Austen spinning in her grave. Leave this one alone.
