Everybody's gonna move their feet submitted by celesteh on June 10, 2010, 5:13pm If this film doesn't make you wish you were a seventeen-year-old boy in 1978 I don't know what will. And if you grew up in the late 1970s, you just might be re-experiencing your youth with "Detroit Rock City." When KISS comes to Cobo Hall in Detroit, four teenage boys from Cleveland are faced with just about every obstacle that would prevent them from getting there, and getting to see the band they worship. From satanically panicked parents to sleazy disco junkies - will they ever fulfill their dream of seeing KISS, the greatest rock and roll band in the world?

What I enjoy most about Detroit Rock City is remembering how exciting it was seeing some of my favorite bands for the first time as a teenager. I think the film captures that feeling really well, no matter when you grew up, and it's a feeling that nothing else can compare to. Not only that, but the film is just so wacky and funny and fun, you can't help but love it. Especially Edward Furlong. Where has he been? I sure miss him.
