Dishwasher : one man's quest to wash dishes in all fifty states

...read this book. Reading Dishwasher was the first time I read a memoir and got really mad at the writer for being such a slacker. C'mon, you're a talented guy, and you want to spend all of your time washing dishes. To be fair, Jordan gets it together and moves on to something better. And more importantly, he puts together some pretty entertaining writing that begs the question of how hard any of us really needs to work in our work-obsessed culture... especially if working all the time means that you miss out on some great adventures.
Jordan put this book together from a zine that he used to publish and it's pretty engaging.
