beautiful but small illustrations submitted by camelsamba on August 3, 2011, 11:34am My 6yo needed to do a project on India, and decided to focus on the Taj Mahal - thus this book. It is kind of wordy and overly romantic for a 6yo boy, and doesn't give as many details on the construction as we would have liked. On the plus side, the illustrations are beautiful - however, they're kind of small (in part because they are set on elaborately detailed backgrounds that fill a lot of the space). I would have preferred for the illustrations to be larger - or maybe that's just my "old eyes" complaining!

Ok book submitted by wookeny on July 19, 2019, 3:26pm This book Has great words, and great writing, but the drawing in this book, is soo small, and hard to see, and it is not even that good. 2/5 stars.
