Warning: You're 1/2 way to Owning a Rodent submitted by Slavewoman on March 23, 2007, 1:49pm This is the 3rd in the "Humphrey" series. We got our first hamster after the first book. The cat got her first hamster after the 2nd book. We got hamster #2 the day after we picked up this book! My 3rd grader really likes this series. I use it as a read aloud, but he could easily read it by himself. All of the books are engaging from the start. HIGHLY recommended!

I love Humphrey Books! submitted by ambujtewari on August 9, 2016, 6:42pm I like Humphrey books a lot because he helps the kids in class. Humphrey is a golden hamster and a class pet.
His cage's lock doesn't lock so he can get out at night and help his friends. Every weekend he goes home with one of his classmates.
Once Aldo one of the school cleaners saw Humphrey out of his cage and reported it to Mrs Brisbane. This got one of the classmates, who was responsible for locking the cage, in trouble.
