Character driven submitted by JLW on July 26, 2015, 4:25pm Elizabeth Bear has a knack for creating interesting universes whose characters are well-fleshed out and just trying to navigate through odd political systems;Carnival is a great example of this. Pay attention to the characters and Vincent and Michealangelo's relationship especially, the plot is rather secondary to the character's development. Good read.
