brilliant director Kusturica. He has made better movies than this, which is also good. submitted by Tassos on January 13, 2023, 6:30pm the movie is from 1985 and the picture does not look as great as recent movies. However the film itself is really good, and gives you a good idea of what really life in former Yugoslavia in 1950 was like.

The cartoon with Karl Marx working in his office, and a portrait of... Stalin on the wall,. priceless!
