Over hyped submitted by knowicki on March 7, 2007, 9:10am Waiting patiently on the long hold list only made this movie more disappointing. While Ron Howard’s directing is pretty good, it is filled with lulls and there is no real climax or great ending. I saw it as similar to Nicolas Cage’s “National Treasure” which was way better when it comes to conspiracy movies. All the Catholic heresy hype only popularized what is an over rated movie, which it is, only a movie.

ok submitted by jszchen on August 25, 2011, 8:59pm It seems a little bogus

Disappointed after reading the book submitted by Sarahcaps on August 13, 2018, 3:14pm I know it was a large task to do a stellar job working from the book. But I was sorely disappointed by the movie, left a lot to be desired.

Not as good as the book submitted by Pooh3238 on August 24, 2018, 6:40pm After reading the book and being so specific with descriptions, the movie was a little disappointing. It wasn't as good.
