Not his best submitted by wampishing on July 22, 2013, 12:53am Given that Zahn's Thrawn trilogy, rightly a classic, is so well put together and entertaining, one would expect his further forays into the Star Wars universe to be equally fun. Allegiance misses the mark, however, not in the least because of Mara Jade's characterization. I adore Mara, but dang, she is a far less interesting character while still serving the Empire.
