Science is fascinating! submitted by mowjac on April 11, 2010, 10:17am I loved this book---it made quantum mechanics fun and dicipherable, while revealing Niels Bohr as a person, not merely a scientist. The drawings help convey a sense of the people and their personalities---I wish this had been available while I was doing high school physics, it keeps the interest up rather than reducing it to math, like we did in class. The novel also places Bohr in the context which he lived---the matrix, if you will, that produced him.
Interesting submitted by Xris on January 24, 2019, 11:24pm The tough subject of Niels Bohr's science and speaking style comes through in this graphic novel. But maybe that's why it was a bit hard for me to get through. Nice to see how important he was to physics though, and how many others he helped on the way. Wish his ideas about nuclear weapons had happened...
