It’s difficult to review such a classic, popular artist, but Bob Seger’s had longevity for a reason. Even though the tunes here are not his most popular works, the lyrics are meaningful and clever enough to pull you in on nearly every song. The songs are also well put-together, with catchy but not simplistic rhythms, excellent use of various instruments, and no overuse – e.g., short but well-crafted solos that complement the music rather than taking over.
