superb submitted by manz on December 13, 2010, 10:17am This is one of my favorite books. And it is the book that made me think "okay, BOCDs that aren't by David Sedaris aren't so bad afterall." I love the voice, the stories, the memories, and it is HILARIOUS.

I laughed so hard that I couldn't breathe. The author has an understated humor that I really like.
I'm the same age of the author and also grew up in the midwest, so this brought back lots of memories. One of my all-time favorite books.
