COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Enjoyable submitted by crazypockets on August 9, 2013, 2:16pm As a non-Trekkie, I really liked this movie. I think it'd be accessible for anyone who likes science fiction or just a good time-travel story. It's really fun to think about what the beginning of space exploration might look like to people in our not-so-distant future, and what it would be like for them to encounter people from the way far future.

Expanding the Borg mythology submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 12:32pm I liked how the Next Generation continued to create new races. This film expanded the mythology of the Federation's latest threat, the Borg.

Pretty Silly submitted by ishhewitt on July 14, 2016, 6:17pm This film is silly, but watchable.

Great Star Trek movie! submitted by Xris on August 29, 2018, 7:56am Glad to see another movie from one of my favorite series! It's always edge-of-your-seat when the Borg are involved.

Borg invade Earth pre-warp drive and try to destroy the Federation before it ever formed. submitted by tbbrown76 on July 6, 2020, 9:04pm They don't win, but it was close. Picard rages. Worf seethes. Riker and Geordi have a ball.
First Vulcans. Pretty good overall. Recommended.

Great Star Trek movie submitted by dave_472 on July 22, 2020, 10:01pm Great Star trek movie, we saw this as a friend's 8th birthday party I recall.

Perfect for Star Trek Fans submitted by ChallngOfTheStrs on August 28, 2021, 1:05am If you enjoyed both the original series and Star Trek: The Next Generation, you should enjoy this movie. The story centers on an important event in the franchise timeline: humans' first contact with an alien species. Most of the action occurs on the Enterprise, however, as they battle the Borg. Definitely one of the better Next Gen movies.
