Lost for over 30 years, this prizewinning horror film was the first film shot entirely in Esperanto. In an imaginary place called Nomen Tuum (actually the Big Sur coast of California), beautiful demons stalk the earth in search of pure souls in order to destroy them. They are assisted by the Incubus whom they call forth from hell.

Interesting, but a surprising end submitted by GCFB SHOP666 on August 31, 2018, 8:58pm I watched this after I looked for items owned by AADL about Esperanto. I was very surprised to find out that there is a movie in Esperanto that AADL owns TWO copies of. Sadly, the actors have horrible pronunciation. The basic idea of the story is that there is a group of two women who are trying to take people (including the main character, a man who is attracted to one of them, called Kia) to hell, but at the end, the Incubus is summoned and Kia is tricked into entering a church, and after first experiencing extreme fear, she becomes good, saying that she belongs to the God of Light.

Classic Cult Film submitted by majean on July 20, 2019, 10:57am This movie was almost lost to us forever, which would have been a real shame. It's shot beautifully - the water is especially gorgeous. The plot isn't terrible - like a folk tale - but the pronunciation of the Esperanto is terrible, not that I think most people will watch it for that. I am impressed at the ability of some of the actors to act in a language they (and the crew) obviously can't speak or understand.
