COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Great Comics about Great Art submitted by eli on January 22, 2007, 12:34am ARF museum has some seriously cool gems within... including some previously unpublished paintings of the Yellow Kid and a short essay by Rube Goldberg, and some intriguing pro-communism comics from the 50s about Cartoonists who wind up in Hell, and a truly sublime one-panel comic by Hugh Hefner himself. The original articles didn't hold my attention, but the format, subject matter, and presentation are top notch; most of the articles use initial capitals by the artist they are profiling.

Not really something to sink your teeth into, but there's some great stuff in here and it made for a very entertaining lunch break.
