PG-13!! submitted by Janet Sommerfeld on January 1, 2011, 9:11pm Good movie, but would be PG-13 by today's standards! Beware if you have young ones!

Hilarious submitted by Sonia on July 3, 2011, 8:55pm One of bill murray's best movies. Who you gonna call ghostbusters!!

Fun submitted by andreahubert on June 26, 2012, 7:21am This movie is funny, but I do agree with above posters, the rating system has changed. Watch this before you share with kids. But who will ever forget this quartet or the song?

Very funny movie submitted by ejmarcash on August 22, 2012, 5:39pm Very funny movie about a team of misfits who catch ghosts and end up saving NYC from Gozer and the end of the world. Love the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Dan Aykroyd, Bill Murray, Sigourney Weaver, and the rest of the cast are awesome.

Still funny submitted by crazypockets on July 23, 2013, 12:05pm I loved this movie growing up, and it's still funny every time I watch it. I always had to cover my face with a pillow at the beginning when I was a kid because of the ghost scene, but as an adult, I really appreciate how hilarious it is. Nothing beats the cast and the one-liners from Bill Murray. It's weird and hilarious and everything good about the 80s all in one.

ghostbusters submitted by a2sue on July 24, 2013, 6:17am I just saw this for the first time since I was in high school back in the eighties. Loved it even more now!!

good movie submitted by KSB2013 on July 8, 2016, 11:15am good movie, but a little inaproprate for kids

Marshmellow Man submitted by caofleischer on July 8, 2016, 8:00pm My wife fell asleep when he showed up. Otherwise, it was fantastic. Seeing the new one in theatres.

PG 13 for sure submitted by mmckenzie on August 5, 2016, 10:22pm A classic must see, gotta know the song. Although Bill Murray is over the top & his character gets really annoying, as he's such a sexist pig. I'd guess women & men view him differently.

Funny submitted by hollieesper121573 on August 29, 2016, 9:39pm Soo funny I just love bill Murray

Hilarious submitted by Meginator on June 24, 2017, 2:58pm I *finally* watched Ghostbusters and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was just as funny as I had been promised. So many nerdy references in pop culture make more sense to me now! It's easy to cheer for the Ghostbusters as they deal with the twin enemies of literal ghosts and ghastly politicians. Their can-do entrepreneurial spirit still resonates today and it's easy to see how this movie is a classic. Its cast is comprised of all-time great comedians with incredible chemistry and it has one of the best theme songs ever composed for a film; what else can you ask for? Best of all, aside from some slightly dated effects (and really, the special effects are amazing in how well they hold up today) and some admittedly problematic sexism, "Ghostbusters" holds up well today. My only regret is that I waited so long to see it.

Marshmallows submitted by chioma on June 29, 2017, 2:33pm I've never seen gohstbusters before, it was really funny and suggest that everyone watches it because the "who ya gonna call? Gohstbusters!" is such a classic phrase. But why don't they like marshmallows?

Ghostbuster submitted by Marykw21 on August 12, 2017, 1:49pm Classic movie! All the actors had such great chemistry and everything was beautifully done.

Classic film and so 1980s it hurts submitted by Nehemiah9 on August 3, 2019, 8:47pm Great cast, acting, script, effects and soundtrack. Pretty much caught lightening in a bottle. It's too bad we never got a proper 3rd one while there was still a chance. Maybe they can pull it off with the new one that's coming out next year. RIP Harold Ramis.

Ghostbusters submitted by crp on August 17, 2019, 12:27am A wonderful first movie

A classic submitted by caburr47 on July 1, 2020, 8:08pm This cultural zeitgeist has well earned this the title of "Classic". The acting, Bill Murray never disappoints . The effects (especially for the time) are great always worth revisiting.

Fun submitted by TLW1998 on June 25, 2022, 10:46pm A fun movie about ghosts

Ghostbusters 1984 submitted by yufamily on August 12, 2022, 11:10am Classic Ghostbusters' original story.
