A Crooked Line submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on July 29, 2014, 8:22am Holden is a man who has been twisted by his undercover work, his "superhero" power which makes him impervious to both painful and pleasant sensations, and his two employers who are using him against each other. He's been crooked for so long now that any line he walks is going to be the proverbial crooked one. He wants to get out from under the thumbs of both the unrepentant government shadowy ops director Lynch, and the inhumanly manipulative criminal power-fiend Tao.
