Mayhem, Mystery, and Matroyshka Dolls submitted by kgiesting on April 1, 2008, 3:57pm An exciting and challenging mystery unfolds with quite a bit of mayhem during an Arts festival in Edinborough. The story twists and turns as we learn of unscrupulous home developers, bad comics, actresses, and policemen and women caught up in a series of seemingly coincidental but connected events.Atkinson does an amazing job of introducing lots of characters and their relationships without burdening us with lots of explanations. I did make myself a map of the characters about 1/2 way through just to be sure I hadn't missed anyone important. You'll have to read it yourself to see where the Matroyshka dolls come in!
