Life story of Dalai Lama 14 submitted by Kimberlyrol on July 27, 2015, 10:00pm This movie is a richly detailed portrait of the life of the 14th Dalai Lama. Unfortunately, this Dalai Lama came to be at the point when Tibet was taken over by China. He was a pawn in the political scheme, but he refused to be manipulated and took action. Beautiful film. Highly recommended.

Scorcese's bravest movie, cost him a lifetime banning in CHina, did not make $, still a great movie. submitted by Tassos on March 13, 2021, 10:51am TOo bad the average moviegoer is a freaking moron. They did not appreciate this masterpiece, which did not make even 1/3rd of what it cost. Dumb car chases and "romantic comedies' are far more profitable, but they still are TRASH for morons. Too bad too few people got to see this movie, and LEARN. Too bad it made China mad at Scorcese and they banned him for life from ever going there.
