Five men conspire to burglarize a small-time jeweler's safe. When the time comes to carry out the scheme, the men become hopelessly clumsy and have to eventually give up and go home.

A very pleasant surprise, this bleak B&W oldie has a smashing sense of humor, side-splitting! submitted by Tassos on December 18, 2021, 11:04am and very welcome today, on a very bleak and totally cloudy day, with its grey skies and rain and sleet falling outside. (Its 11 AM and it looks like evening out!)

SO, as I said in the title, outstanding sense of humor in the script, which is more than enough for me.

But there is more! Such as, for example, a very young, unbelievably attractive Claudia Cardinale, probably one of her first movies. (the movie was released in 1958, so when it was filmed, she was only 19-20 at most.
