my favorite Le Carre submitted by camelsamba on August 11, 2022, 11:24pm This might be my favorite Le Carré book, although I'm not exactly sure why. The ending is dismal and bleak (I almost didn't want to read the last chapter because I sensed the outcome), but overall the storyline was more interesting and easier to follow than some of his other books I've read recently (the post- Cold War ones, that is). I like how we were led along step-by-step, as Justin figures out what Tessa had figured out before him.
