Transportation, redefined submitted by smv on June 30, 2011, 9:48pm This book follows the author, John McPhee, as he explores some of the aspects of the freight/cargo hauling industry. This includes a river barge towboat, UPS's operations, trucking (no step vans) and a 2-mile coal train. Overall, this book completely changes my view of the transportation industry.
