Anansi the trickster submitted by Jen Chapin-Smith on August 23, 2012, 5:00pm In the same vein as "American Gods," Neil Gaiman brings us the story of the sons of Anansi the Spider, a character in many west African folk tales brought to the Americas by slaves. Anansi is sometimes a trickster god, so the live of his sons are anything but simple. I recommend reading at least a few of the original folk tales first to get a feel for the character. The author takes folk tales and Paganism seriously and plays out what would happens as a result.

Good Listen submitted by rjbenko on January 25, 2017, 10:33pm Got this recording to make my daily commute more enjoyable and that goal was fulfilled. I am a general fan of Neil Gaiman's writing. Colorful story and characters. Very well read as well with distinctive voices that embodied the character's core attributes. Nice light story to pass the time.

Anansi Boys submitted by lstorc on August 6, 2018, 4:32am The audio delivery is extraordinary
