Television journalist Alison Reynolds has been ousted from her job in Los Angeles in favor of a younger woman. In her mid-forties, Alison faces not only the end of a lucrative career, but the end of a ten-year marriage to a cheating studio executive. Escaping to Arizona, Alison begins blogging for theapy, and to help others deal with being cut loose--from marriages, jobs, life. Her writing soon touches a chord with many women, but threatening posts start to haunt her and the death of a friend may not be what it seems. When the woman who replaced her on TV is mysteriously murdered, Alison recognizes that she must find the killer before she is cut loose once and for all.
