Start great mystery series here!
The first in the Merrily Watkins series by Rickman. The series is set in in the Hereford area of the UK, near the border with Wales. Merrily Watkins in the new Anglican priest at a small parish church and she soon encounters unusual things that lead her to be chosen as the new "deliverance minister" of the diocese (that's exorcist in non-pc terms).
Rickman's books tend to be a cross between a mystery and a supernatural ghost story. Most chapters end with cliff-hangers, so it's best to start one of these when you can just keep reading all the way through! Some readers have said that it jumps around a bit between scenes and can get a bit confusing if you're not ready for this. But, these are my *favorite* mysteries and I could read them over and over again. Hope you enjoy them also!
