Read the book submitted by SBrandt on July 5, 2011, 6:10pm If you can read the book. This is a great story, but unfortunately the Author's voice can be a bit tiring to listen to.

A Wrinkle In Time submitted by SBNB on July 7, 2015, 11:57am It’s a great book, and the recording is pretty good too.

not the best narrator submitted by camelsamba on June 30, 2016, 9:03pm I love this story. I have always loved this story. I have always loved Madeleine L'Engle's writing.*

That said, I just listened to the audiobook, and I did not love Madeleine L'Engle's narration. If I remember my Crosswicks history, she met her husband (Hugh something) when she was a stage actress. I would not have guessed she had been an actress based on her reading of this book. Some of it sounded so stilted. I feel like she should know the emotion to convey at every point, since it's her story, but at times it felt like she was just rushing through. So if you're a newcomer to the story, I'd suggest maybe getting a version with a different reader - or just read the book itself.

* (Well, except books 4 & 5 in this trilogy - one or both of them were just plain odd.)

Just as good 20 years later submitted by hduke on July 28, 2018, 2:27pm I remember checking out this series on cassette tape from my local library growing up, so it was a delight to be able to relive my childhood by listening to this - moving and profound

Good family travel book submitted by pamelawright on July 30, 2018, 9:40pm We listened to this book on our way back from the Grand Canyon. It took a little while to adjust to the author's voice, but soon enough everyone was interested in the story.
