Sets up for the next book submitted by susanlam on July 13, 2011, 11:01am This book revealed various secrets to the characters and was full of action. The scenes with rain were especially impressive because you could really feel the intensity of the storm. At the end of the book, Phoney and Smiley Bone take on a bet and promise to rid the down of dragons, setting things up for the next book.

Things get serious submitted by severian on August 8, 2021, 8:38am Some mysteries are revealed and the action heats up in another great installment of Bone. Jeff Smith does an amazing job playing with white and black space in this volume, using brief flashes of lightning to reveal how close Bone & Co. are to the Rat Creatures in the dead of night. A lot of fun (for all ages) -- if you liked the other Bones, keep going!
