COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Meh submitted by johnsoem on August 15, 2011, 9:26pm I wanted to love this movie, particularly with it's incredible production value and great acting talent, but it is anti-climactic and boring. Also, Dakota Fanning and her precociousness is obnoxious. Such great potential wasted.

Suspenseful submitted by crazypockets on August 11, 2013, 1:44pm I thought this movie was ok, but mostly because of the suspense involved. They did a really good job of making the aliens extremely scary. But other than that, I agree with johnsoem that Dakota Fanning was really annoying. Not a terrible movie, but yeah, it had more potential than actual achievement.

Okay submitted by beeniepie on August 11, 2013, 3:19pm This film was ok. It had potential to be great given the director, production and actors, but the pacing was off, along with an anti-climatic ending.

Decent. Nice special effects. submitted by tbbrown76 on August 2, 2014, 9:40pm Tom and Dakota are pretty good.

A failed invasion submitted by leenajong on August 16, 2015, 9:22pm I expected more from this movie, but I guess the producers wanted to the audiences to connect with what a human family would go through an alien invasion. Fail.
