Forgettable but Fun submitted by pkooger on September 6, 2011, 1:43pm Confessions probably won't go down in musical history as one of Madonna's greatest albums but it has great rhythms and it's danceably fun. Hung Up is an excellent pop song and the album maintains its level of energy throughout most of the following offerings. I really enjoyed the songs Jump and Like It Or Not, but I didn't fall in love with anything after Hung Up.

Madonna Goes EDM submitted by Meginator on July 13, 2023, 7:14pm This album is lresented as a continuous mix, which works nicely for a collection of EDM tracks. While "Hung Up" is the obvious standout, each one has something to offer in the way of a catchy hook (even if the lyrics aren't always up to par). It's a bit of a pivot, but Madonna has always stayed current with pop trends and this makes for a surprisingly convincing turn from the Queen of Pop. It's not one of her strongest records but it does have a lot to offer long-time fans; it's yet another reinvention that works.
