Great movie submitted by amym on August 19, 2014, 12:18pm The story was great, scenery was beautiful, and acting was perfect. Everything a movie should be. It's such a nice change of pace to see a movie that really has a good, thought-out plot. Thank-you, Rudyard Kipling.

Often Overlooked Classic submitted by SaraP on July 26, 2022, 1:39pm Huston adds a few things to the Kipling short story to make a full movie, but the additions are worth it. Connery and Caine are fantastic. The locations are wonderful, and the music is great.
