COMMUNITY REVIEWS

Fun to read submitted by Steph on June 30, 2011, 1:20pm Agatha Christie is one of my favorite authors, and this collection of short stories are fun to read. Most of them are traditional mysteries, but a few of them are (Witty) sketches about solving problems. The book features popular detectives like Poirot as well as some of Christie's less famous characters, whom I found just as delightful and fun for variety.

Agatha Christie short stories submitted by SolaireFQ on July 30, 2016, 8:45am This is a fun collection of short stories which features four of Agatha Christie's detectives.

Quick reads submitted by purchasingqueen on August 13, 2016, 2:13pm Several detectives and lots of short stories. Easy to pick up/put down.

Four detectives, many short tales submitted by camelsamba on August 31, 2016, 12:02am This collection has four sections for 4 different detectives: Parker Pyne, Harley Quin, Hercule Poirot, and Miss Jane Marple. The Pynr and Quin sections each have a one page introduction by Agatha Christe, describing how she came up with each character and setting out her favorites of the stories. I wonder why that doesn't appear for Poirot or Miss Marple - perhaps because they are more well known? It was interesting to read that "The Mr Quin stories were not written as a series. They were written one at a time at rare intervals. Mr Quin, I consider, is an epicure's taste."
