Bird Songs
This is the Andrew Bird record to start with for those that have never heard his music because it touches on his whistling baroque pop sensibilities, and it doesn't die out in the second half like some of his other work. Here he is clever, funny, sensitive, nerdy, and likeable all at once. If I were to compile a greatest hits mixtape for Andrew Bird, it would be 75% this one, and a handful of other tracks off the other albums. BOOM.
