fantastic disney movie

Great disney movie. Classified as disney renaissance era. Great songs.

The One of The Best Disney Princess Movie

Out of all of the Disney Princess movies, this is the most interesting and the the movie that portrays women in the best way. I have many fond memories of this movie from my childhood and if you liked the other princess movies, you will like these.

just around the river bend

quite enjoyed this when i was younger - loved pocahontas independence and imagination, however i do find the major inaccuracies problematic. it could possibly be used as a jumping off point for discussions on american history.

Loved the movie, flawed ideas

I loved this movie growing up. As an adult, I find many of the liberties that Disney took with the story problematic such as romanticizing the story and not implicating the disastrous long-term effects that colonizers had on the first peoples. That being said, it is a movie I loved as a child so I have very complicated feelings about it. It's worth watching, just make sure that you are aware of the truth behind the Disney.

childhood memories

This was one of my favorite movies growing up. I could never get over the thrill of every scene. Colors of the wind is probably one of my favorite songs from this movie

Magical story of love and togetherness

Great movie for all ages

Beautiful movie

When I was a kid, I really enjoyed this movie. The songs are fun and make you want to sing along. Yes, it's not incredibly accurate, but it's a nice story and a good Disney movie.

This was alright. It's definitely not my favorite. It probably goes in my Bottom Five of Disney movies.

I loved it.
