Vivid Description and a Great Ending submitted by Amber Bowman on July 12, 2018, 9:58pm My child saw Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey at school and was interested in reading the book. We usually keep an audiobook in rotation for car rides, and checked out this one from the library. We were both surprised by all the ways the movie strayed from the details of the book, but I enjoyed getting to know the original story. There were many tense and exciting moments during the animals' adventure, and of course, the heartwarming moments as well. Definitely worth a listen!
